Roman copper alloy lorica segmentata lobate hinge
A rectangular plate secured to the remains of an iron plate by a rivet at each corner. Three of the rivets are flat headed, the fourth more domed. Slight projections at the broken edge suggest the remains of lugs. Possibly a make shift repair.
