(a) Consists of the lower part of a head of a leonine animal, broken at the level of the brow. The short muzzle is badly chipped and weathered, both on th eupper surface and it's left side. Protruberances to either side of the head at eye-level are the remnants of ears. Cylindrical drill-holes indicate the nostrils, and also part of a surviving ear-hole on its right side. Broad bands divided by grooved channels to the sides and below the head must represent the mane. Although most of the upper surface is missing, the remaining area was dressed flat. (b) At the centre of this fragment is a rosette with a leaf-spray to either side pointing downwards. Cylindrical drill-holes emphasize this decoration especially around the rosette. On the right-hand side there is another rosette below this the outline of an animal's paw; the opposite side has been left plain. The lower surface of the stone is dressd flat. (c) It has been suggested that this small piece, broken on all sides, may form part of a wing.
