Neolithic stone polished axehead
Part of a stone axe, broken in half. Highly polished surface, battered at one end and on one face from use as a hammerstone? Oval section with vertical sides, slightly tapering form. The two edges near the break appear to have been rubbed down and facetted. Quartz dolerite, probably of local Pembrokeshire group. XXIII.
