plain chest of drawers consisting of two small drawers and three long drawers with brass baluster-shaped drop handles (not original); frame of chest and front of drawers made of wood with simple decoration in the form of chamfered sides; top and back covered with plywood (back painted slate grey); interior of drawers and sides made of old Indian tea boxes, one dated 1943.
