Cup, coffee and saucer
Coffee cup, very fine white hard-paste porcelain, cylindrical form with plain loop handle; decorated with around the exterior sides an elaborate pattern of renaissance-style scolls in puce, purple, blue, green and yellow enamels and gilt, against this is reserved to the front of the cup an oval panel with gilt frame and painted with a yellow urn on a pale blue ground, the handle picked out in gilt, gilt lines around the base and lip-rim. Saucer, very fine white hard-paste porcelain, inset base and straight flaring sides; decorated with around the sides of the well an elaborate border as on the cup, a gilt foliate motif to the centre of the well, a gilt line around the rim.
