Plate, tin-glazed earthenware, standing on a flat base, cushion-moulded, spreading sides, forming a large deep central well and a narrow, sloped rim; covered with a creamy-white tin-glaze and decorated in underglaze blue and yellow, in the centre, in blue, stylized Imari style flowers and foliage, the flowers with rough overpainting in yellow enamel; the rim, with three yellow enamelled flower buds issuing simple leaves and interspersed with stylised foliate motifs.
