Pen tray, soft-paste or hybrid porcelain with a creamy yellow translucency; standing on a moulded foot rim, the sides moulded as a row of seven scallop shells, a larger one in the centre; swan handles; interior of tray separated into three compartments; painted with small sprays of flowers on alternate shells, three small sprays to each interior wall, and a spray in the centre compartment with a polychrome perched bird on either side; gilt detail to shells and swans; gilt sprigs inside tray.
