¾ Starboard stern view of M.V. RIEVAULX at Cardiff Docks.
Bulk ore carrier built 1958 by Smith’s Dock Co., Middlesbrough, with a 4-cylinder Doxford engine. This was one of four ships built for North Yorkshire Shipping Co. Ltd., a company formed in 1954 and operated by Bolton Steam Shipping Company Ltd., specifically for handling ore for BISCO. 1973 – Sold to Silver Lake Shipping, Piraeus, and renamed SILVER LAKE. 1973 – Sold to Kimolos Shipping, Piraeus, and renamed NEMA.
