The 567 gross ton steam coaster Moray Firth approaching the Roatli Basin lock, c. 1948. She was owned by G. T. Gillie & Blairs of Newcastle, a firm originally established by G. T. Gillie in 1911. The Moray Firth was sold to the Aberdeen Coal & Shipping Co. Ltd. in 1959, and was eventually broken up at Dunston in March 1972. G. T. Gillie & Blair still manage coasters for a number of coasting and short-sea trade companies.

Built 1946 by John Lewis & Sons, Aberdeen (engine by Atlas Polar Co.) for Firth Shipping Co. Ltd. (managed by G.T.Gillie & Blair Ltd.), Newcastle. 1961 – Sold to Aberdeen Coal & Shipping Co. Ltd., and renamed FERRYHILL. She was broken up in the UK in early 1972.
