Bill of Fare of Willard's Hotel, Upper Canada Village - 'In 1842, Charles Dickens, touring North America, passed down the St Lawrence in a steamboat. According to local legend, he stopped at the Halfway House, as Willard's Hotel was then known ... we have recreated a meal such as the one the innkeeper might have prepared for such an illustrious guest as Mr Dickens'.
