Dish
Dish, buff-coloured earthenware, oval shape with flat base, curving sides and spreading rim, to one side of the base a rounded bump pierced with two holes for suspension, the interior of the dish moulded with raised decoration with to the well a landscape with a seated female figure suckling a child while two other childred play with a goat, around the rim a border of flowers alternating with ropework ribs; the upperside of the dish decorated with washes of colour under the glaze in shades of blue, yellow, green and brown, the underside of the dish decorated with washes of colour under the glaze in shades of blue, brown and purple to give a tortoiseshell effect. The glaze chipped off around the rim and base.
