WOOLLEN CANVAS, embroidered with coloured silks, chiefly in cross and eyelet stitches. At the top in five rows separated by narrow bands of ornament are alphabets in capital and small letters and numerals to 4. Below, flanked by flowering plants, is a verse and the maker’s name. At the bottom are flowering plants and birds. There is a border of a floral wavy stem.
