S.S. FORT DAUPHIN (7130gt). North Sands type vessel built 1943 by Burrard Dry Dock Co Ltd., North Vancouver (engine by John Inglis Co Ltd., Toronto), for MoWT (managed by Constantine Steamship Lines). 1946 – Transferred to MOT (managed by McCowen & Gross Ltd). 1950 – Sold to Watergate Steam Shipping Co., Newcastle and renamed WARKWORTH (managed by R.S. Dalgliesh). 1957 – Sold to Cia Maritima Amaconte, Monrovia, and renamed BODORO. On 27th January 1967, she collided with ss BEAVER STATE in thick fog in Chesapeake Bay. Later declared a constructive total loss, she was broken up at Portsmouth, Virginia in 1969.
