Early Medieval shrine (replica)
Replica of the early medieval house-shaped shrine found at Loch Erne, Ireland. The walls and roof of the house are plain except for three applied decorative roundels and two hinges. One large roundel sits on the roof with two smaller ones on the side. The hinges and roundels are decorated with interlace pattern and the roundels contain a cabachon stone at the centre. The roof ridge is also decorated with interlace panels and possible zoomorphic finials.
