Text sheet accompanying sample dictated by Ann Sutton to Laura Thomas: Following the sucess of Ann Sutton re-coloured Holywell blanket range, Meirion Mills new owner contacted Ann, accusing her of copying one of their blankets and specifically colourway. Ann Suttonpointed out that she had registered the design. After investigation the owner of Meirion Mills relised that they had actually bought one of Ann Sutton blankets and it was they doing the copying much to his embarrassment. He offed Ann a job recolouring some of their standard designs such as this sample
