Haynes, Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1802 - 1810)
Dish or shallow bowl, pearlware, flat underside, waved rim with six notches, printed in blue with 'Elephant Rocks' pattern of peonies and a fence, and with two elephant-like rocks in foreground. Border pattern of oriental flowers under a diaper band, conventional pattern of curls and triangles around cavetto. Blue strong and blurred. Broken in two and rivetted, and brown stained.
