Lovespoon
A large lovespoon which has two circles, one inside the other which swivel. Hanging from it are five spoons and a carving set. Each of the spoons has a cage handle with a number of balls inside.

Lovespoons were traditionally carved by men as love tokens. The custom developed from making spoons for the home. The skill was in carving very intricate lovespoons from one piece of wood using simple tools. Nowadays commercial woodcarvers make lovespoons as souvenirs and for celebrating family events.
