Brown crocodile skin afternoon bag, 1930s. Used by Letitia Davies, Cwm Duad, Carmarthenshire. Carrying strap stitched to back. Chromium plated metal framed opening, Art Deco style. Medium length flexible metal handle (double chain). Brown plastic clip fastening. Beige artificial silk interior, with one open compartment for vanity mirror, and one clip fastening purse compartment. Simple rectangular shape. Base and sides soft, not rigid.
