Cup and saucer
Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Cup and saucer, soft-paste porcelain; cup standing on a cylindrical foot rim, rounded sides, loop handle; saucer set on a straight sided foot rim, rounded spreading sides; both painted with a wide pale blue band with oeil de perdrix decoration, reserved with lobed cartouches edged with a gilt band and gilt beading, containing flower bouquets on a white ground, a flower spray in the centre; gilt line and beading below, gilt band to cup and saucer lip, inside cup lip a gilt band and gilt arcaded border with flower head pendants.
