Lower Palaeolithic flint levallois core
A small struck levallois core made on a piece of flint with a light pinkish hue indicative of light burning. The dorsal face has been shaped into a flat surface and the levallois removal scar extends over much of this face. The ventral face is shaped at the edges and there is some of the pebble surface showing.
