Plate, tin-glazed earthenware, standing on an inverted base, cushion-moulded sides, forming a deep central well and broad rim; covered with a blue tinged white tin-glaze and decorated in underglaze blue, brown, yellow and green, in the centre, with Imari style flowers, foliage and rocks, and on the rim with lemon-type motifs in yellow, issuing ornate scrollwork in brown and being joined by a running border of stylised floral and foliate motifs in green and brown.
