Ceramic hand lamps
Palestine style oil lamp grey ware pottery some possible evidence of differential firing or overall burning of the lamp. Almond shaped body with chevron line design on the forward part of the lamp and straight line design on sides and rear of body. Seperated by a row of dots from the front of the oil hole to the edge of the shoulder. Large oil hole surrounded by a raised rim which is in turn surrounded with a line of dots, raised rim continues to encompass wick hole. Lamp has a flat base.
