Dutch oven
Dutch oven (plate warmer), tin-plate, rectangular box-shaped form with domed top, a hinged door with brass handle to the front, open back divided by two vertical metal rods, to either side twin brass flower and ring handles, two shelves inside, standing on four cast iron cabriole legs with claw feet; the exterior covered with a black japan and decorated in gilt with borders of flowers and leaves.
