Mug, deep buff coloured earthenware, moulded foot-rim, cylindrical body, loop handle with foliate moulding to the terminals; the exterior body decorated with a dark chocolate ground and three bands of pale blue slip edged with orange-brown, over the central one of these is a marbled rope-like trail of pale blue and orange-brown slip. Narrow cracks to the body.
