Jug, whitish stoneware, standing on a rounded spreading foot-rim, globular body, cylindrical neck, beak spout with foliate moulding to the underside, scrolled foliate moulded loop handle, an engine turned woven pattern around the lower body; the exterior body and exterior neck covered with a blue slip which has then been sprigged in white clay with around the body reliefs of "a fox hunt at a kill" showing figures, horses and hounds attacking a fox, smear-glazed.
