3/4 starboard bow view of S.S. BARON NAIRN, at the coal conveyor in the eastern corner of Roath Dock, Cardiff, c.1936.
S.S. BARON NAIRN (3164gt). Built 1925 by Lithgows, Port Glasgow for Kelvin Shipping Co., of Ardrossan and managed by H. Hogarth & Sons. She was torpedoed and sunk by U108 off Cape Race on 7 June 1941 while on a voyage from Scotland to Nuevitas, Cuba.
