Half fragment (triangle) of a square floor tile made of red/orange clay with slip-on impressed design in white clay.
Lewis group 16 no. 106
Slip-on impression. Sheild of arms set diagonally: quarterly, 2nd and 3rd a fret, over all a bend (Despenser); leaves springing from top and sides. The same badge is noted on catalogue numbers 110, 166 and 217.
