Oval basket, standing on a spreading foot, pierced with a pattern of quatrefoils in ovals, and with a cabled rim; the bottom of the basket embossed with a waved oval and engraved with a coat of arms, paly of ten or and gules (Thrale), in pretence, gules, a lion rampant ducally crowned or between three crescents of the last (Salusbury), within a rococo cartouche ornamented with shells, foliate C-scrolls and foliage; the sides pierced between 16 beaded twisting ribs with panels of trellis, ovals, quatrefoils and foliate scrolls; beaded everted lip pierced with quatrefoils, diamonds and ovals, cast foliage rim; large pierced bale handle.
