Jacket
Wool-mix jacket, with narrow vertical stripes in brown and mustard. No defined waist, swinging out slightly and reaching beyond hips. Semi-wide sleeves ending in turned-up cuffs. Lined with apricot-coloured tabby-woven synthetic fabric. No fastenings down front opening. Worn by Miss May Thomas (born 1901) during the 1920s-30s. She left Cardigan in the mid-1920s and went into service in London. The family she worked for often gave her good quality second-hand clothing.
