Plate, hard-paste porcelain, circular shape with squared-off foot-rim, curving sides and spreading rim, a notched and lobed edge to the rim; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well a large tulip in red and yellow with a dragonfly-like insect perching upon it, around the sides of the well and the rim scattered sprigs of naturalistic flowers, a very worn gilt edge to the rim.
