Cup and saucer
Cup and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, circular, loop handle with a moulded thumb rest in the shape of a leaf, footring; the rims of both pieces are banded with peach borders overpainted with gold leaves and red stars held between red borders that are overpainted with gold dots and gold vertical strokes, the front of the cup and the centre of the saucer are painted with a shield inscribed J. W in peach and which is crowned with a horse's head and is framed by flowers and peach leaves, the saucer's central reserve and the interior rim of the cup are banded with a red line and dot border overpainted with gold leaves.
