Doll
Large doll in Welsh costume. Made by Myfanwy Morris of Porthmadog for a competition at the National Eisteddfod held in Ystradgynlais, 1954. Winning design for a Welsh folk dancing costume.
Doll is wearing full underwear, including suspenders and white stockings. Satin underslip, nylon fichu, red and black striped petticoat. Grey nylon brocade (curtaining type) bedgown, with black piping and nylon sleeves. Nylon lace cap. Cotton apron. Blue cloak with contrasting lining. Black leather shoes and Welsh hat.
