Oval bin of tinned iron is mounted on two wooden battens and is surmounted by a removable iron fitment consisting of a wooden handle, shaft and gears for operating a cane brush drum mounted vertically inside the bin. A hole in one end of the bin (stop missing) allows the cleaned potatoes to be taken out. Two half-moon shaped tinned iron lugs, one at each end of the bin. The inscription is stamped on the outside of the bin near the handle. The inside of the bin has a rough abrasive surface. A price tag is ttached to the gear shaft.
