Power saw
Portable, power-driven cross-cut saw manufactured by Christy and Penny Ltd, London, 1920s. Powered by a two stroke petrol-driven engine, water-cooled, with WICO magneto. The engine and cutting apparatus are mounted on a frame with a detachable axle and two wheels, with fixed front guide wheel ( with locking arm). The two blades are detachable. Also fitted is an adjustable guide. The blade can be activated by the safety clutch. Engine water hose pipes are missing. The tension lead from magneto to the spark plug has been renewed.
