A fragment of and Early Medieval Bone Comb.
It is the tooth plate of a comb, it is from the central tooth plate including part of the peg hole and the incomplete ends of four comb teeth.
The edge opposite the edge with the drilled hole is cut flat, it's unlcear if this was an original feature of a later break to the object.
The comb's technology can be confidently dated to the Early Medieval, it was also discovered among a 10th century cemetary.
