Cup and saucer, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; cup standing on a rounded foot rim, London shape, and a curvaceous ogee handle; saucer standing on a rounded foot rim, with slightly curved spreading sides; painted with set pattern 405 - a wide rich underglaze blue border with gilt-lined oval reserves of a gilt stylised flower on a white ground, between large gilt foliate scrolls; underglaze blue and gilt medallion in the centre; gilt cup and saucer lip, gilt handle, and gilt band to foot rim.
