Rathbone, S & J (in production 1812-1835)
Teapot and cover, bone china, London-shaped with a collar-like rim that has waved edges, rectangular, curved spout, wishbone-shaped handle, domed cover with a domed rectangle-shaped finial, indented base; decorated with the Broseley pattern in an underglaze blue transfer print, the rim is banded with an elaborate border in underglaze blue and the edges of the teapot and handle and spout and cover are gilded, the finial is gilded.
