Spill vase
Spill-vase, pearlware, standing on a spreading foot-rim, cylindical side gradually flaring outwards to a widely flaring and spreading mouth; the exterior sides covered with a blue ground, around the middle of the body this ground has been partially removed by engine-turning to create a checked and banded effect, around the upper body a band of moulded vine leaves and fruit has been applied in white clay over the blue ground. The lip-rim chipped.
