Early Medieval bone object
Segment from a tusk of a boar, perforated and fixed with an iron nail to some larger object as an ornament. Dr Cornwall suggests that the large size of the tusk suggests that it comes from a wild boar. I have no parallels for this interesting ornament. Ivory?
