Pot, coffee
Cottee pot and cover, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a foot rim, pear-shaped body, folded spout, S-shaped scoll handle, domed cover with pagoda-shaped finial, hinged silver gilt mounts (Metallmontierung) to cover and rim of pot with thumb piece; decorated on either side in gilt, one side with a large vase of flowers, two figures to left, one to right, trees, other side with a palm tree in centre, three figures to the left, one with umbrella, three figures to the right, one bending, one with umbrella, both scenes standing on platforms with gilt scroll brackets, gilding to foot rim, handle, spout and shoulders; cover decorated in gilt with foliate decoration, gilding to rim and finial.
