Iron Age / Roman iron file
Iron file of rectangular cross section with fine transverse ridges along half its remaining length on one face. The file tapers to a point at its terminal and has no ridges so probably formed a tang. Files have been found at Twyn y Gaer Hillfort (90.109H/30), Dinorben hillfort (Savory 1971) and Mynydd Bychan (Savory 1955).
