SUSIE WONG, photograph
View of the SUSIE WONG (AB73) at sea.
Built by J. Crossfield & Co. at the Crossfield Yard at Deganwy in the mid-1930s. Type originally know as a Morcombe Bay Nobby, and used for fishing in Cardigan Bay. She was based at Porthmadoc after World War II, and later came to Aberystwyth where she was used for both fishing and pleasure trips. She was the last sailing fishing boat in Aberystwyth. Formerly known as the BETTY.
