Tea bowl
Tea bowl, earthenware, standing on a straight-sided foot-rim, rounded curving sides; transfer-printed in blue with to the exterior sides two Chinese-style scenes showing pagodas and other oriental buildings amongst oriental trees, one scene also features a small figure riding on a beast of burden, to the interior bottom of the bowl a small design of pagodas enclosed within a circular border, wide border to the interior lip-rim of semi-circular petalled motifs on a lattice-work ground, a brownish edge to the lip-rim.
