Carthen
Single-woven carthen, about 1880. Beige (originally purple/red) and navy diamond motif. Made in two pieces, seamed down centre. Beige warp, woven with dull green to form pattern of concentric diamonds overall. Head and foot rolled, and hand stitched. Sides left plain.
