Early Medieval copper alloy pin
Simple bronze pin, with a crude disk head surmounting a collar moulding. When the pin was found, a fine streak of silver of silver on it's shaft suggested that it had originally been silver-washed or plated, but no trace of silvering remained after the removal of copper sulphate.
