Medieval ceramic floor tile
Lewis Group 16, no 160 Slip-on-impression. Corner tile. Part of 16-tile design: circle of five concentric lines, the middle one interrupted by circles pierced with quartrefoils, surrounding a cusped octofoil with six pettailed motifs in the spandrels; outside the circle, a grotesque head in each corner.
