Large Basil Brush soft toy, c1980s

Large Basil Brush soft toy made from different types of synthetic fabric and 2 different types of synthetic plush fabric. The toy is made from brown fur with a white lower jaw and white tail tip. Its mouth is open, showing white felt teeth and a pink felt tongue. It is 'dressed' in fabric with sage green and metallic green vertical stripes, divided by thin darker green stripes. There is a seam down the centre front. It has a V-neck which is covered in a blue fabric with vertical stripes. It is wearing a bow tie made of 1 inch wide blue ribbon printed with white dots. It is wearing a 5mm wide, pink cotton tape round its neck (braided construction). Its nose is made from black felt. It has orange and black glass eyes. The cape it wears on its back is made of orange fabric. It is meant to be able to sit upright, although it currently is a little unsteady and would need to be stabilised.
