Plate, whitish biscuit earthenware, circular shape with rounded foot-rim, cushion-moulded sides and spreading rim, a raised ridge around the edge of the well, the rim moulded with embossed letters of the alphabet, a moulded band of arcading to the outer rim; undecorated and unglazed.
