Cup, coffee and saucer
Coffee cup and saucer, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; cup standing on rounded foot rim, London shape, with a curvaceous ogee handle; saucer standing on a rounded foot rim with curved spreading sides; painted with set pattern 471, - a wide border with shaped areas of purple seeded salmon pink, with pale underglaze blue and gilt leaf edges, alternating with black seeded green areas with iron red and white leaf shaped edges; a stylised red peony in the centre with green, underglaze blue, and gilt foliage; inside cup lip a pale underglaze blue border with gilt triangles; gilt handle, gilt lip, and gilt band to foot rim.
