Plate, hard-paste porcelain, circular shape with short cylindrical foot-rim, cushion-moulded sides and spreading rim, a shaped and perforated edge to the rim; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well a spray of naturalistic flowers and two small butterflies, to the rim a heavy gilt border painted with a repeating leaf pattern in blue, gilt edges to the perforated border to the rim and to the edge of the rim have now mostly worn off so that only traces of gilt remain.
